My son said that after his very first martial arts tournament.
He’d worked hard — nervous, focused, determined in that quiet way only kids can be.
When the day ended, he took second place and received a medal.
On the way home, he held it in his hands for a long time and said those words that stuck with me forever.
In a world full of screens, shortcuts, and participation trophies, that one sentence reminded me what kids really need:
A chance to earn something real.
That’s what our White Belt Challenge is all about.
👊 What Is the White Belt Challenge?
We don’t do free trials.
We invite your child — with your permission (or your insistence, if you prefer) — to take on a challenge that means something.
Here’s how it works:
✅ Complete two full classes within one week of starting
✅ Petition approval from two instructors
✅ Break a board in front of their peers
If they can do that, they’ve earned their White Belt. I tie it on them in front of the class and formally invite them to join our community.
And whether they choose to join or not, that belt is theirs to keep — a lasting reminder that they did something real, something hard, and something that mattered.
Because confidence doesn’t come from being handed rewards.
It comes from effort.
From showing up.
From earning it.

While you’re under no obligation to continue after your child earns their White Belt, I want you to have the full details beforehand:
Monthly Tuition: $149/month
Includes two 50-minute classes per week.Sibling Discount: $20 off each additional child.
